Some days it seems like one hearing aid isn't enough. With Digital Sound F/X, it's like having two hearing aids in one! Set Program 1 for everyday listening needs and Program 2 for party/restaurant noise or music/concert enjoyment, etc.

If you find yourself in situations where you can't hear conversations in front of you because of loud background noise, choose the Digital Sound F/X direction option. Dual-microphones decrease noise from behind, making the sounds in front easier to hear.

Digital cell phones are becoming a popular way for active people to keep in touch. Digital Sound F/X reduces interference from cordless and cellular phones.

Although Digital Sound F/X automatically adjusts the sound levels on your hearing aid, we want to give you the freedom to choose. If you prefer to adjust the volume yourself, a user-operated volume control is available.
Note: Volume control will be standard on BTE models.

Audio Input for TVs, Stereos and FM Systems
Direct Audio Input is a standard feature on all US80 hearing aids. When used with an audio boot and connector cord, Direct Audio Input allows you to plug your hearing aids into FM systems in schools, theatres and auditoriums and directly into audio-visual equipment like televisions or CD-ROMs. It’s like bringing your US80 up to the sound source, so your listening is focused on what you really want to hear.

Plus, all US80 hearing aids are equipped with a telecoil setting that eliminates annoying feedback when you use the telephone or other assistive listening devices.

Programmable option
The programmable US80 Sigma features two separate listening programs. For example. your hearing healthcare professional can set one program for regular listening in the home or office, and another for listening in places with background noise, like restaurants and sporting events. Just flip the toggle switch on your hearing aids to change listening programs any time, anywhere.

The US80 Sigma features a total of six adjustment settings that allow your hearing healthcare professional to customize your hearing aids to your unique hearing loss. That’s more settings than on most other power hearing aids.

And while the US80 Sigma performs just as impressively as conventional US80 models, special circuit features give US80 sigma a longer battery life.

US80 and Unicom..FM in a SNAP!
When you use the US80 hearing aids with Unitron’s cordless Unicom Personal FM System, you can hear distant speakers in theaters and auditoriums as thought they were only inches away. The lightweight transmitter and wireless FM receiver boot make Unicom a discreet and hassle-free solution to listening problems in public places. Just snap the receiver boot onto your US80 and you’re set!

Please note: Unicom is a wide-band FM transmission system. It transmits in the 72 to 76 MHz band. The system may not be available in countries where FM transmission has been assigned a different frequency band.
